"As a recent below knee amputee I found myself wondering how I would be able to ride my bike.....should I be looking at a three wheeler or maybe an electric shifter? All of these questions. All I knew was that I just needed to still be able to ride. So off to Mountainview Harley Davidson in Chilliwack to see Dave and the gang. Right away Dave ordered me up an electric shifter and then took me back to see Alex. Of course Alex being the smart guy that he is had already been thinking about myself and my bike and what he could do for me before I was even there to do a deal. About a week after that day Steve rode my bike out to the shop and Alex, Shaun & Dave spent time with me to see what would be the best way to get my foot sitting in the right spot as well as what they could do with my heal/toe shifter. It didn't take Alex long to figure out what to do. He moved the whole shifter assembly and footboard out about an inch and took my highway pegs off of the engine protectors and added them to my shifter levers so that I would be able to hit the shifter to put it into neutral for the electric shifter. Well by the time he was finished with my bike I had an electric shifter that works very well but I can also go through everyone one of my gears using my prosthetic foot and leg........so now I have the best of both worlds. So the end result is that I picked up my bike on September 13th, rode it for about five hours and then rode all day Sunday in a Poker Run (won that too). This my friends made up for the five months that I was in the hospital and the rehabilitation hospital in Vancouver. I have to say I have not felt that much joy since I got my new leg and was able to walk again. I cannot thank Dave and Lori enough for their generosity in getting me back on my bike......and to Alex, you are the best. To the rest of the front end and shop staff you are so kind to be so helpful. You guys are best and please don't ever stop being the caring bunch that you are. Thanks & Love to all, Marcia Thomson"

"Well it is probably my own fault,karma you could say. Friday afternoon my friends bike broke down and I was teasing him about it, well Jack and the service group went out of thier way, over and beyond, managing to fix his bike and having him on the road before the end of the work day, great job. Here is where the karma kicks in, Saturday morning I was going to go for a ride, wouldn't you know it my bike was broke, once again the crew at mountainview, on a busy Saturday, were able to come pick up my bike and repair it before the end of the day, so Sunday here I come, the weekend was not a total loss. Thanks to everyone at Mountainview for another outstanding job, you guys/gals are definatly #1,great job."

"Dave I wanted to commend you on a team that you and everyone included should be very proud of!!! I have been a regular customer for two years now and everytime anything ever comes up, your staff truely amazes me! "Wow the service is great!! I pulled up after a nice long sunny ride out to Harrison Mills last week.... thinking I should check the oil. I walked in asked for a price quote to change the oil and the next thing I knew I was in and out within 1/2 hour with no appointment. The service and advise that I received regarding my regular servicing was the unbelievable. What a great bunch of guys and the knowledge level from Henry, Jack and Bary... you guys have won my heart. When was the last time you were able to watch your ride being serviced first hand. Sorry guys about my chirping alarm... it's a warning that my baby was crying out for me. "What a great experience buying a new bike should be. The staff at Mountainview certainly enhance that. Up untill my visit to Mountainview I was dissapointed with the attitude of the 'bigger' dealerships who quite honestly made me feel like THEY were doing me the favour selling me one of their bikes. I live in North Vancouver with 2 larger HD dealerships a lot closer to home than these guys. Without doubt, I am more than happy to drive the distance to receive the customer care and appreciation that all the staff showed me, in clear and complete contrast to what I had experienced to this point. "Hello Dave, You have a definate "gold star" lineup of staff! My husband had the liner from his leather jacket stolen while enjoying a Canucks game in Vancouver. Being that his jacket is only a year old we figured we could just replace it. We were dissapointed to learn that we could not purchase a replacement liner as they were unavailable. Knowing how often my husband rides and how much he enjoys his motorcycle, Erika worked diligently to try and get a replacement (without our knowledge). "My first experience with a motorcycle was at about age 5 when my uncles put me on an old bike and pushed me up and down the driveway at my grandparents house. I have fond memories of that experience and have been in love with motorcycles from that day forward. One day I found myself sitting in a friends car outside HD of Chilliwack telling him I would not go in becuase I knew I could have to buy one if I ever stepped inside the door. Well he out lasted me and I went in, two weeks later I was the very proud and excited owner of a 2005 Roadking Custom. My wife didn't want to ride with me for the longest time and then one evening after dinner I said I was going out for a ride and she said that she would like to come. We got about 5km down the road and she said that she had forgotten how much she enjoyed riding. We went on a few road trips over the next year and a half and one day my wife says that I need to deal with her comfort while we are riding down the highway in Washington so I take my cell phone out of my windshield bag and call the Chilliwack shop and order a new 07 Ultra. I hang up the phone and tell her I dealt with it and she says good. We take delivery of the new bike and put on 17000km on it before getting a new 08 Anniversary Ultra. I have to say that the entire staff at the Chilliwack shop are great to deal with and while some shops talk about after sales service and support Dave and his staff actually deliver it. Few companies provide the service and comitment to their customers that Mountainview Harley Davidson does. Thanks again for everything that you guys do! Russ "

"Bought my second Harley from Kyla and Bob. Service and attention to details second to none. I could have gone to Langley but when customer service is this good why go anywhere else. As a first time rider on a bike my wife was very nervous. Jackie had her kitted out with all the required gear in no time and encouraged her by saying "go..enjoy the ride". And that we did. "Latest round of events concerning my bike gave me time to spend with a lot of your staff, right from front door to back door (except Dave you're very seldom around- lol). The service that I have received from all of these people, from the time that they've personally greeted me as I come through, to the service that I receive from each and every one of them has been wonderful. Your service department always seems to make time for any concerns that I have with my bike and seem to be able to fit me in on very short notice, in a timely manner. This all makes me feel kind of special. The only other people that have ever laid wrench on this bike is when I've been on a trip and out of reach of you, oil change, etc. If there was a complete major breakdown,I would package it up and send it to you for repair...as this is the great type of work that I receive from your shop. I just want to acknowledge the care and attention that I am receiving from all of your staff, especially the maintenance. It is hard to say without picking any special person out as they all treat me equally, but I guess I would have to give Alex a special thanks; since Alex is doing the work on my bike (which I have asked for because he is the one who knows my bike the best), each one has their own little quirks. It appears that your staff are quite communicative amongst all departments because they all seem to know what is going on with anything that I've needed work done on; which only helps the knowledge of your staff to help other customers. " COMING FROM COMOX EVERY YEAR FOR A RIDE WITH OUR OLD BUDDIES, WE HAVE NEEDED HELP ON TWO TRIPS. "My son and I were recently on a road trip which took us through Alberta, British Columbia and Washington state. Me on my 83 shovel and he on his 96 Dyna. As we crossed the border from Washington back into BC at Sumas, my son encountered some problems with his Dyna so we decided to stop at Chilliwack HD to see if we could get help. Being an old shovel rider, I lost my faith in Harley Davidson franchises many years ago and didn't expect much. But wanted to let you know that the service we received from Dave and his service staff (Barry and Alex) was second to none. They immediately acknowledged we were on a road trip, got the Dyna straight into the shop, got the work done and got us back on the road within less than 2 hours of walking in the front door on a busy Friday afternoon. "Had a Bad day at work today, so to relieve tension I went to my happy place.....some call it HD Chilliwack. Bought my 04 Fatboy from the other guys, and had some service issues so decided to check out the guys in the Wack.
